Dinge im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum gehen ohnehin schneller kaputt als im heimischen Garten. Kommt dann auch noch Vandalismus dazu, wird es schnell frustrierend. Nicht nur haben irgendwelche Idioten ohne jeden Grund in ein paar Minuten das ruiniert, was viele H\u00e4nde in vielen Stunden aufgebaut haben – es braucht jetzt auch noch viele H\u00e4nde, um den Schaden zu reparieren, oder im schlimmsten Fall den Sperrm\u00fcll zu entsorgen, der einst ein sch\u00f6nes Projekt war. Selbst wenn nichts mutwillig zerst\u00f6rt wurde: die Verm\u00fcllung von Beeten, B\u00e4nken, was auch immer man baut, frustriert enorm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Es reicht ein grunds\u00e4tzlich anst\u00e4ndiger Mensch mit einem sehr, sehr schlechten Tag.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Frusttoleranz kann man nur langsam lernen; vielleicht hilft es, sich klar zu machen, dass nicht das ganze Viertel Idioten sind (nur weil \u201edie alles Sch\u00f6ne immer sofort kaputt machen\u201d) – es braucht nicht einmal einen einzigen Vollzeit-Idioten, es reicht ein grunds\u00e4tzlich anst\u00e4ndiger Mensch mit einem sehr, sehr schlechten Tag. Sich das vor Augen zu halten ist vielleicht ein St\u00fcck weit Selbstbetrug, aber es hilft. Sehr filigrane Dinge werden im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum aber immer nur an bestimmten Orten \u00fcberleben; dazu sind einfach zu viele Menschen unterwegs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Was noch hilft: sich genau anschauen, was wo\/wie kaputt gegangen ist – und die Konstruktion verbessern. Das hat viel mit handwerklichen F\u00e4higkeiten zu tun: holt euch Rat, recherchiert, schaut euch an, wie andere es gemacht haben. Schaut euch an, wie die B\u00e4nke und Beete der Stadtverwaltung gebaut sind, die schlagen sich schon l\u00e4nger mit dem Problem herum. Sucht aber dann nach sch\u00f6neren L\u00f6sungen – der Stadt ist Haltbarkeit oft wesentlich wichtiger als Sch\u00f6nheit, leider.
